Morning view from the backyard
Spring is ending, but still too cold for planting
Nice clear day. Waiting for my guide from Fosshestar to go on a horseback ride
Heading into the barn at Fosshestar, ready to meet the horses
My horse's mugshot. Blesi was a good horse for this new rider!
This is my mug shot of Blesi
And face on... Very dark in the barn, only light from the window.
Hello, Mister Horse. This is Lokkur, that my guide rode.

The horses were very curious and would gently try to eat my camera.
The mug shot on the stall wall is a pretty good one!
Horses are happy to see Deborah
Getting nostriled by one of the horses, with the superwide lens on.
The horse is wondering why I am crouching.
Blesi getting a treat

The other horses are hoping for a treat from Deborah.

As I photographed the horses, they watched carefully
Lunch and dinner for the horses
Lots of water is needed as well!
This is the road we took the horses up.
What a setting for a ranch!
The big black building is a former waste treatment plant, shut down for polluting the air.
Friendly Icelandic graffiti
Ísafjörður in the morning
Our 1br 1ba apartment from GentleSpace Guest Apartments. So glad we stayed here!
Everything we needed to have a great night and start refreshed! Túngata 20, Isafjordur. Recommended
A real kitchen with a nice dining table! Just like being at home.
We quite a while in the kitchen, it was so welcoming.
We ended up buying matching small kitchen appliances when we got home. Ours are red!
Restful, quiet bedroom, plenty of natural light and storage. Too bad we have no luggage yet!
Very comfy beds. Got my jacket in the lower left because of the superwide lens.
Clean, modern bathroom. No water spraying all over the floor here!
In the foyer, ready to leave! This is all the luggage we have, since IcelandAir still has our bags.
