Arriving in Vik, we spot the church on the hill
We must go up and take a look from up there while there is still sun on it
Just to the east is the N1, where we will enjoy lunch tomorrow.
The Reynisdrangar, remains of basalt columns. We didn't get to them this trip
Driving up to the church, we start looking out over Vik towards the Reynisdrangar
Reynisdrangar in the shade of the cliff
Víkurkirkja still getting the setting sun.
We weren't the only ones excited to photograph Víkurkirkja (Church on the hill overlooking Vik, Iceland at sunset.)
Three out of four photographers agree that Víkurkirkja is worth taking a shot of!
Pretty good view of Reynisdrangar from up here.
Looking out to the southeast, looks like a game of Sim City below.
What is an oyster-catcher doing up here?
He takes off, and i manage to get a decent photo at 1/50th sec, 300mm, hand held, ISO 200!
